ON FEBRUARY 19, CONSUL GENERAL OF SPAIN IN THE U.S. VISITED THE GENERAL HEADQUARTERS OF THE NATO SUPREME ALLIED COMMANDER TRANSFORMATION (SACT).

Last February 19th, Enrique Sarda Valls, Consul General of Spain in the U.S., went to Naval Air Station Norfolk (Virginia), to visit the General Headquarters of the NATO Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (SACT). He was accompanied by the Spanish Defense Attaché and the Embassy Chancellor, to have a meeting with the Spanish military personnel and their families stationed there.

During the meeting, organized by the Spanish Liaison to SACT, Colonel Jesus Gonzalez Garcia, the Consul informed the group of administrative and other issues of interest. After commenting on some consular initiatives and highlighting the growth of the Spanish community in the United States, he took the opportunity to express his admiration for how high its Armed Forces have taken the name of Spain, as well as the excellent image of their country they send forth worldwide.
