On May 30th, in the former residence of the Ambassador of Spain, it was held a reception in honour of the Spanish Armed Forces.
Mrs. Cristina Fraile, minister-councillor, stressed in her welcoming words the strong societal support the Spanish Armed Forces have earned through their professionalism and dependable performance.
On his part, Defence Attaché, Gral. Jesús Armisén, highlighted the deep roots the Armed Forces draw on, as some units were established in the Middle Ages, its Marines Corps dates back to 1537 (the oldest in the world), and they continue evolving and adapting to society and its needs, as the 79th Air Force jubilee proves.
