Invited by the organizers of the event, the Defense Attaché of the Spanish Embassy in the USA, his Excellency BG. Jesús F. Armisen Bobo, accompanied by the WO Miguel A. Sánchez Bosque, attended the events organized from 11 to 13 of November for the celebration of Veterans Day 2016.
The national flag of Spain carried by the Warrant Officer, paraded in the Grand Parade by the streets of the city of Saint Augustine in Florida founded in September of 1565 by the Spanish explorer Pedro Menéndez de Avilés, being the oldest continuously occupied European-established settlement within the borders of the United States.
