Last August 17th, the Naval Attaché attended a ceremony at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, where the Academy staff welcomed foreign students who will be pursuing part of their studies there.
The ceremony consisted of: students introduction; welcome from the academic authorities; fraternization lunch attended by students, Naval Attachés of all representative countries and the Academy's International Department staff; and a group photo.
On behalf of the Spanish Navy there will be 6 midshipmen this first period, being the largest, from all countries attending this program. The Spanish students will remain at the Academy until the end of December.
The Spanish Navy also has an officer as Professor in the Sciences Department at the Academy.
