On 17 May, the Spanish Navy's Chief of Staff, Admiral Jaime Muñoz-Delgado Diaz del Rio was interviewed by the daily Tiempo Latino (Washington Post's Spanish newpaper), on the occasion of his attendance to the symposium "Sea Air Space 2016" held in the Gaylord National Convention Center National Harbor. "Sea Air Space" is the largest convention on maritime defense of the United States.
El Tiempo Latino spoke with Admiral Muñoz on the excellent relations between both the Spanish and the US Navies, and other issues of interest such as the relationship between the Spanish Navy with Spain's defense industry, the future of the of the Spanish Navy's Air branch, the development and building of the new F-110 frigates and the S-80 program renewal.
