This November came into effect the recently signed technical agreement between the Spanish Ministry of Defense and the U.S. Navy that allows the  U.S. Navy's Advanced Naval Deployed Forces at Rota Naval Base to train with and use the facilities of the Internal Security Training Center (CASI for its acronym in Spanish).

November 9th was the starting date for the CASI simulator training for 22 U.S. Navy Internal Security instructors that came from several US centers who will, together with Spanish instructors, train the crews of all ships stationed at Rota. The  Center for Combat Evaluation Commander welcomed the instructors to the facility and urged them to take advantage of all the training opportunities provided by the center.

Monday, November 16 was the start of training to the crew of the first American ship anchored at Rota.
