More than two hundred NATO and national authorities attended
The Distinguished Visitors Day (DVD) of the Trident Juncture 2015 exercise was held on Wednesday November 4th at the Spanish training range of San Gregorio (Zaragoza) with the attendance of more than two hundred authorities of NATO and most of allied nations.
Among the visitors are the Secretary General of the Alliance, the Spanish and Estonian Ministries of Defense, the Chairman of the Military Committee, the Commanders of all Joint and Supreme Allied Commands, the Chiefs of Defense of fifteen member and four partner nations, as well as the Permanent Ambassadors to the North Atlantic Council.
The Trident Juncture exercise has been NATO's most significant and ambitious so far this century, having turned out as a clear exhibition of allied capabilities in complex crisis situations. Furthermore, it was the mean to validate the Spanish Army High Readiness Force Headquarters as the 2016 Land Component Command of the NATO VJTF (Very High Readiness Joint Task Force).
Spain was the exercise's host nation and has contributed the largest force, thus proving once again the national solid, reliable commitment to NATO.
