Between August 11-18, a Task Force Diving Unit from Cadiz actively contributed on the repair of one of the propellers of the "USS Ross" destroyer, with the US Navy team that had expressly traveled for this purpose from Norfolk to Rota Naval Base.
This type of support revealed the high level of preparation of the Spanish Navy divers, which was highly esteemed by their US Navy counterparts, who at the end of the job paid a fraternization visit to the Cadiz Diving Unit facilities at the Puntales Naval Station.
