As part of a Student Exchange Agreement
As in previous years and under an exchange agreement established between the Naval School of Marin and the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, on 15 August six Spanish midshipmen, five from the General Corps and one Marine, have been admitted to the USNA for a four-month studying session.
Along with midshipmen from Germany, Chile, France and Japan, all 19 students will be divided between the relevant academy brigades, to integrate fully with their American peers. As it is traditional, one of the first activities organized by the Academy's International Department is the fraternization luncheon, led by the students' Comandant, attended also by the Naval Attachés, and in our case with our new exchange teacher, Lieutenant Javier Molina Martinez, who also begins his tenure as electrical engineering teacher for two years.
