Training and interoperability maneuvers between the two units
Between 16 and 18 March, the Spanish Paratrooper Brigade "Almogavares" VI and the so-called Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response have conducted a joint exercise of airborne deployment of personnel and material.
During the three days of the exercise, about 600 paratroopers have jumped on the Spanish Brigade training zones from a Lockheed Martin C-130J "Super Hercules" and the Bell-Boeing MV-22B "Osprey" convertiplanes. This collaboration has also allowed the release of several waves of loads up to a total of three tons.
