Spanish Participation in "Integrated Air & Missile Defence" Conference

The Conferences on "Integrated Air & Missile Defence 2015", from March 16 to 18 in Seville, counted among its speakers with Spanish Army representatives. The presentation was in charge of the Vice Chief of the Army Staff, Lieutenant General Juan Campins. The director of the Artillery Academy, General Alfredo Sanz Calabria, and the Chief of the 74th Antiaircraft Artillery Regiment, Colonel Luis C. Torcal, gave lectures concerning air defense systems and missiles, and future strategies for integrating all air defense elements.

During the morning of the last day of the event, participants visited the 74th Antiaircraft Artillery Regiment at the "El Copero" base in Seville, and in the afternoon they attended a demonstration of the Hawk missile in the "Medano del Loro" proving grounds in Huelva.
